We take on a few projects each year so that every one gets the attention of the whole team.

- Use few materials, and join them honestly.
- Draw every detail the hand will touch at full size.
- Build what can be maintained by the people who live with it.
How a project runs
We visit the site, measure it, and record light, wind, trees and neighbours across the day.
Sketches and models of two or three ideas, discussed with you around the table.
One idea developed into plans, sections and a first estimate of cost.
Construction drawings and details, with approvals and tender to builders.
Weekly site visits until the building is finished and you have moved in.
What we do
New buildings from first site visit to handover: houses, collective housing and small public buildings.
Renovation and fit-out, where an existing structure is kept and made to work harder.
Courtyards, gardens and the ground around a building, designed with the building, not after it.
